2009 Fitness Goals And Thinking Outside The Box
Health and Fitness December 31st, 2008
Exactly 12 months ago, on the last day of December 2007, I made a new year resolution to get fit… …and I stuck with it! Is has been a year now and I have consistently stayed within my workout routine and diet plan. Thirty pounds of fat has been replaced by about 20 pounds of muscle, and my waste has shriveled from 38” to a hot and sexy 34” and sometimes 33” on a good day!
With 2009 looming and new goals in mind, I needed to figure out a way to mix things up a little and continue my fitness transformation. Here are some of the ideas I have come up with that may just work for you as well.
Work On Fitness Outside Of The Gym
I have always equated fitness and toning with “going” somewhere like a gym, fitness center or sports field. I figured that working out had it’s place in my life and that is where it would remain. This philosophy has served me well, but I just don’t have any more time to spend at the health club. So how can I increase my workout time without actually using up any real hours on the clock?
I have found the solution utilizing fitness equipment designed to tone and bring cellulite reduction during everyday activities. That fitness equipment comes in the form of MBT Athletic Shoes. I have found that wearing them during my day provides a nice stretch, even burn in my legs, allowing me to constantly tone and tighten my entire lower body. MBT Sport Shoes come in a variety of colors and styles from casual to dressed up, and they are pretty trendy too. This is a “must” have for someone like me who is always on the go. Get that cellulite treatment started today with these totally cool and practical shoes.
In addition to strapping on my MBT Athletic Shoes, I am wearing ankle weights each morning and evening. I often take the train downtown to work and hoof-it 2 miles to the office. These long walks are better suited to fitness with a little weight added in. The best part is that as the stride gets easier, I can simply increase the weight. It’s a perfect solution.
Finally, the most drastic change I’m making comes in the form of a new chair at work. It is no ordinary chair, however, it is actually a large, air-filled rubber ball. By sitting on the fitness ball throughout the day, my core muscles, namely the abs, are in constant flex and tone. I am very excited to see how fast my waste can shrink to a 32” or even 30” utilizing this small and inexpensive change.
When it comes to fitness for the new year, chances are your resolution will be more successful if you incorporate these simple tips that make the transformation easier and full proof! Best of luck in 2009!
