A Guide To Hair Loss

Hair loss, no matter how undesirable, is inevitable and quite natural. There are too many reasons to list here as causes for but be assured it affects many, many millions of men, women and children around the world. The correct term for hair loss is Alopecia. The most common type of hair loss is called male pattern baldness and is responsible for nearly 95 percent of cases in men; it is also hereditary.

If your hair loss is more moderate, however, it’s possible your nutrition and diet have a something to do with it. The reason for your condition may be at your work place if you deal with chemicals or cosmetics but some others may as a consequence of personal situations such as stress, mental tension or a hormonal imbalance. Permanent loss usually occurs when the hair follicles themselves are damaged. Often considered as a purely male problem, in America women actually make up forty percent of people that suffer with some form of the condition.

The main difference between the sexes is that women will more than likely lose their hair later in life and it is often attributable to thyroid problems. Globally, nearly 40 percent of women by age 60 will have experienced some form of the condition. Some women also have a hair loss problem when they are pregnant; often lasting many months after the child is born. In America approximately thirty million women suffer from female pattern, hereditary baldness at some point in their lives.

A new but a treatment that is becoming increasingly popular is surgical hair restoration; it is considered the ultimate solution for those who suffer with permanent hair loss. Hair follicles that are healthy and undamaged are taken from the scalp and transplanted to an area where the follicles have been damaged for whatever reason. Today hair transplant surgical hair restoration is an out-patient procedure requiring only local anesthesia and is becoming one of the most popular procedures for men today. Facelift surgery can often leave scarring so many women are using the same hair transplant treatment that men are to disguise these scars; or when they have lost their hair for other reasons.

The most successful hair transplants are those where the recipient tries to maintain his original looks and not to attempt to appear like someone else. Health considerations should be taken into account and addressed before hair transplant treatment is carried out on anyone. While cosmetic surgery does include hair restoration as one of its sub-fields, this is a different form of cosmetic treatment available. If all other hair treatment therapies have failed then it’s possible that a surgical hair transplant might be the only permanent solution available for your hair loss condition.

I smoked for most of my life. I know it affects my overall health so I want to quit smoking but it is extremely difficult. None of the quit smoking steps helped me stop. Then I found the e cigarettes. It’s basically changed my life. No more breathing in toxic substances feels stupendous!

I realize now quitting is actually harder than you can imagine. I introduced myself to cigarettes when I was just a kid. It had been the biggest mistake I’ve made. At present 30 years down the road and I have lung disease. I experimented with every one of the quitting techniques but absolutely nothing did the trick. My last try is the e-cig in the end.
